For example, co-op buildings tend to take a bit longer in terms of the approval process for the potential new home owners. For that reason, sellers should start the listing sooner especially if they have specific timeframes in mind. It is important to add extra buffer times to compensate for unforeseen circumstances such as a board meeting being delayed, present tenant needs, or anything else along those lines.
